I believe the beauty of family photography lies in the everyday moments - the muddy knees, the ice cream spills, the big cuddles, favourite toys, and brand-new tricks learned at the playground. These are the fleeting details that become treasured memories with time.
My style is relaxed and creative. I photograph families at home or on location, somewhere your little ones can feel comfortable, curious, and free to be themselves. No awkward poses, just natural connection and honest storytelling.

What Should We Wear?
Soft colours and simple patterns always work beautifully, especially for little ones. If you have more than one child, try to coordinate outfits in tones that complement each other — think 3–4 colours that work well together without matching exactly. That said, the most important thing is that your children feel like themselves. Let them wear what they’re comfortable in — even if that means their favourite jumper or well-loved wellies!
What If We Need to Reschedule?
Things happen — especially with kids! If you need to reschedule for personal reasons, I’ll do my best to offer an alternative date (as long as it’s within the cancellation period). If the weather doesn’t play ball, we can move to a backup location or rearrange for another day. No stress.
What If My Child Is Camera Shy?
Totally normal — and nothing to worry about. I take a gentle, playful approach and give children space to warm up. There’s no pressure to smile or pose. Whether they’re hiding behind your legs, pulling funny faces, or lying on the ground in protest — I’ll capture it all with patience and care.
Travel Information
Travel is included within 15 miles of NE30.
If your chosen location is further afield, travel is charged at 45p per mile. In some cases, train fares or accommodation may need to be covered — I’ll always discuss this with you in advance.
Where Do Sessions Take Place?
Wherever your child feels most at ease:
Babies & toddlers – Home is often ideal for relaxed, quiet moments.
Older children – Parks, beaches, woods, or anywhere they can explore and play. Together, we’ll choose a spot that suits your family’s energy and story.
When Will We Receive Our Photos?
You’ll receive your edited online gallery within 4–6 weeks of your session, ready to browse, download, and share.
Can We Bring the Whole Family?
My family sessions are designed for up to 8 people. If your group is larger, I may need to allow
What Can We Do With the Digital Files?
All sessions include high-resolution digital images with full personal printing rights — perfect for printing at home or with your favourite lab.
You’re welcome to print and share with friends and family as much as you like. The only restrictions are on selling, editing, or submitting them to publications without permission.
